What could be more exciting than to be with those who have a passion to give back and to work for the good of their community! On Saturday, August 8, a gathering of Lancaster’s finest gathered at Tellus 360 for a community potluck lunch organized by Lancaster Unity. Lancaster Unity brings people together to work on projects needed to make Lancaster a better place, whether it involves volunteers to pick up street litter or to participate in an organized walk for peace. And who were the youngest participants there? SWAN students! They came with their voices, their hand drums and their hearts to provide beautiful music for the luncheon. They may have small frames and no money in their pockets but they shared what they had: their songs and their smiles. Priceless!
