National Night Out started with a bang when our SWAN students played their drums for the children of Cabbage Hill in St. Joseph’s Church lot. The plan was for our students to share their drums with the children that evening and teach them some of the rhythms they have been learning in their Friday after school classes held in St. Joseph’s Good Shepherd Room. As our students interacted with their neighbors we worked at enrolling more children. Know of anyone who would like to participate in our programs?
