SWAN was the featured nonprofit at the Society of Professional Women’s networking event at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA. Wells Fargo presented SWAN with a check for $1000 to support our work with vulnerable children and many of the CEO’s in attendance donated gift cards to SWAN. The founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Anne Beiler, was the featured speaker for the packed out event with 250 attendees. SWAN’s executive director, Diana Vuolo, was able to publicly address the problems that children of the incarcerated face and how music and mentoring helps children succeed.
