Our SWAN students enjoyed spreading holiday cheer at the Central Market Christmas performances in downtown York and Lancaster. Students from our Red Lion School District music program gathered at the York Central Market to share the Christmas music they’d been learning. The following week students from the School District of Lancaster and Red Lion performed at the Lancaster Central Market. The smiles on their faces made clear that the children took delight in sharing the familiar songs of the Christmas season with their community and gathered friends and family.
SWAN students from Hamilton Elementary also performed for their school Winter Concert. After the performance, SWAN teacher Lisa Fairman remarked, “The children are developing a kind and supportive friendship.”
