SWAN students had the joy of sharing their musical talents with the community at the Gifts That Give Hope Fair, an event that celebrates generosity, connection, and the incredible work of nonprofits near and far.

Our students performed several songs together, with various students accompanying the singers on their instruments. Each performance reflected their hard work, growing confidence, and the joy they find in making music together.

One particularly special moment came when a student stepped forward to sing a beautiful solo. Watching her confidently share her voice was a proud reminder of the growth that happens when children are encouraged to discover and develop their God-given gifts.

There was another heartwarming surprise when a school music teacher arrived to cheer on several of her students! Seeing their teacher show up to support them outside the classroom was a meaningful reminder of the impact caring adults have in children’s lives.

After the performance, students and their families enjoyed exploring the fair, meeting representatives from other nonprofits, and learning about the many ways organizations are making a difference in Lancaster County and around the world.

We are especially grateful to the dedicated team behind Gifts That Give Hope for creating such a wonderful opportunity for nonprofits to connect with the community, share their missions, and celebrate the spirit of giving.

For SWAN, the day was about more than a musical performance. It was an opportunity for our students to share their gifts, experience the encouragement of their community, and discover how others are working to bring hope to people in need.

Thank you to Gifts That Give Hope, our students and families, our dedicated teachers, and everyone who came to support these young musicians!

At SWAN, we are grateful for every opportunity to help children impacted by parental incarceration heal, learn, succeed, and dream.
