During week 3 of summer camp, students took the field at Clipper Magazine Stadium to perform our National Anthem. Excitement was high for this first performance of camp. Cylo, the Barnstormers mascot, delighted the children with a visit and helped distract a few who had some nervous energy leading up to the big moment. The crowd grew hushed as the children began to sing and perform American sign language to our National Anthem. The roar of cheers was felt deeply as the children beamed with pride. They impressed the audience and the entire SWAN camp staff by knocking it out of the park with their best performance.

“I was so nervous, but I focused on what I had learned and did my best. I knew I was not alone, and we were in it together.”
