A Night to Celebrate: SWAN Students Shine at the Summer Celebration
The smiles were contagious. The energy was high. And by the end of the performance, the room was on its feet.
SWAN’s Summer Celebration brought together our community for an evening of music, celebration, and support for children impacted by parental incarceration.
The highlight of the evening was watching our students take the stage. After weeks of rehearsals, individual lessons, and learning to work together as an ensemble, they were ready to perform.
They sang. They danced. They played their instruments.
And they performed with confidence, joy, and energy, earning a well-deserved standing ovation.
But one of our favorite moments happened after the performance.
As the students rode the bus home, they were still singing. They talked excitedly about the performance, replayed their favorite moments, and celebrated the audience’s response.
They were on cloud nine.
That confidence, joy, and sense of accomplishment are exactly why SWAN exists.
Celebrating Today and Investing in Tomorrow
While the students were the stars of the evening, the Summer Celebration was also an opportunity for our community to invest in the future of SWAN’s Rising Stars Summer Music Camp.
A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Life Financial Group, for helping make this memorable evening possible.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors, donors, and silent auction participants, together, we raised $60,263 toward our goal of making SWAN’s 2027 Rising Stars Summer Music Camp possible.
These funds are an important step toward providing another life-changing summer of music education, mentoring, social-emotional learning, faith-based programming, and mental health support for children impacted by parental incarceration.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who is helping us build toward Summer Camp 2027.
Thank You
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Summer Celebration such a success. Thank you for cheering for our students as they took the stage, believing in their potential, and investing in their future.
The Summer Celebration was more than a fundraising event.
It was a celebration of confidence, growth, and the incredible things that can happen when a community comes together to invest in children.
The music may have ended, but the impact was only beginning.
