Our music camp students gathered in downtown Lancaster for July’s Music Friday. The large crowd of community members, including their family and friends, made the children both nervous and delighted. Positioned by the Prince Street Garage “keys for the city” piano, they began to share all they’d learned during the first three weeks of camp.

They performed several songs as a choir accompanied by student instrumentalists, and some students performed in instrumental ensembles. A student later shared that she liked how the drums, piano, and choir sounded together. Several students agreed with her. The performance allowed the children to experience the joy of being a team and a part of the Lancaster community.
