What do Goldfish, M&M’s, and Sun Chips have to do with our SWAN students? A graphic artist whose studio has done branding and packaging design work for these and other well known brands has volunteered to create a logo and branding for our students’ World Music Ensemble. The children in this ensemble have been faithful to attend their lessons and to perform for their community. As a reward for their dedication as a team and excellent work, we are taking the necessary steps to have their group name developed and branded with a logo. Steve Beckman, VP of Design at Eighty Twenty, has already met with the students to teach them how all of this actually works. They are learning a lot about marketing themselves to their audiences.

How important is this? Children want a group identity and sense of purpose. This project will graphically reflect who they are and will encourage them to stay together, to keep learning, and to continue performing for their community.

Want to see their logo? Please join us on April 18th at The Trust Performing Arts Center from 12:30 – 2:00. Our children’s group name, logo and branding will be unveiled just before they perform at our event called “Spotlight on SWAN”. RSVP and learn more about the event.
