Beth Shalom House of Peace awarded their Community Partner Award to SWAN because we have been offering free music lessons to their residents’ children. Beth Shalom provides a comprehensive Christian interim housing program for single mothers leaving prison, where they can reunite with their children and be empowered with the skills and opportunities necessary for long-term sufficiency.
We have enjoyed teaching the children and plan to continue serving. We have the greatest respect for their investment in the lives of vulnerable women and their children.
