Our students at Pleasantview Elementary in Red Lion had their first “Pizza Performance” for teachers, parents, and siblings on May 18. Before the pandemic, the Red Lion Area School District thought it would be great to have their SWAN students perform monthly and include a pizza celebration for all who attended. It was such a great idea and one that we did not want to forget about over the restricted COVID period. They finally had the green light to go ahead with the plan. Our performers drummed and even invited their families and teachers to join them. Everyone focused and performed without a hitch and then celebrated with the long-awaited pizza party.
