On March 31 our students headed into Philadelphia to perform for the launch party of a great organization called Philly Gives. As they assembled into the performance room their faces shined with anticipation and excitement. The drum began its beat and they took it from there singing and dancing to beautiful African songs. One of our students sang the solo, “When You Believe” from The Prince of Egypt. Again the room burst into cheers and calls for an encore swelled. The children rose to the occasion, spontaneously sang another song and were led to the red carpet for photographs. The room was buzzing with enthusiasm and once again our SWAN students had impacted their audience. Bravo!!!
