We’d like to introduce one of our team members, music teacher Lisa Fairman.
“I’ve been teaching music for 10 years and with SWAN for over a year. My primary instruments are my voice and djembe drum although I took years of clarinet and piano lessons as well. My favorite part of teaching music is seeing the students grow musically and mature through the structure of lessons when they know the teachers truly care about them and their development as people and musicians. It is a joy to witness their skills grow!”

What one word would you use to describe yourself?
“Creative. My mind is active and I am constantly hearing musical possibilities for new compositions or harmonies/arrangements for existing music as well as choreography. I write poetry and lyrics and can always see how these various elements can be created to form a full production.”
