Our students and their families will undoubtedly have a good night’s sleep and may even have “visions of sugar plums” dancing in their heads. That would be because Gardner’s Mattresses and More generously gifted 100 pillows to our students and their families at the SWAN Christmas Party on December 14.
Owners Jeff Giagnocovo and Ben McClure support SWAN throughout the year but made a special effort to bless our students by donating their “Pure Lux Tencel” pillows. And what household does not need comfortable pillows?
Did you know that pillows are important? According to Mattresses & More, “They impact your sleep posture and position as much as your mattress. They affect comfort, quality of sleep, and the amount of aches and pains you have in the morning or don’t have.”
Everyone loved receiving pillows at the party, and luckily, the recipients did not think to have a good ol’ pillow fight while there. Whew!
Now, we’ll expect well-rested students in our classrooms ready to learn when they return from Christmas break.
