Longtime supporter and SWAN community member, Susan Germeroth, got creative and used her crocheting to raise funds during the holidays. “I have been crocheting for about 20 years. My mom taught me the stitch I use, so it has sweet memories for me. I have given away my work as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and thank yous for many years. This year I wanted to do something different with my scarfs and my job allows it’s employees to sell crafts at Christmas time as long as we donate the proceeds to charity. It gave me great joy this past Christmas to donate my proceeds to this wonderful charity that helps children in need with music lessons and opportunities to perform for the community.”
We are grateful to Susan for using her crafty talent to support our students.
