At SWAN, summer has always been more than a break from school—it’s a time of deep healing, joyful music-making, and life-changing encounters for children impacted by parental incarceration. Our summer camp and celebration events have long been highlights of the year, bringing together students, staff, and supporters in powerful ways.

This year, due to an unexpected funding shortfall, we made the difficult decision to cancel both our 2025 Summer Music Camp and Summer Celebration. While this was a hard step, it was made in prayerful consideration and with a deep desire to steward our resources wisely and responsibly.

But our mission doesn’t pause with a season.

We remain fully committed to providing trauma-informed care, Bible teaching, and music mentorship throughout the year—and we’re already laying the groundwork for an unforgettable 2026 summer experience.

We believe in a God who specializes in the impossible. When the path narrows, He often opens new doors. That’s why we’re pressing forward with faith, trusting that He will use this season to strengthen our foundation and prepare us to reach even more children in the future.

In the meantime, we’re grateful that our students will still gather this summer to attend a performance of Noah at Sight & Sound Theatres—an inspiring experience made possible by generous partners. We’ll also continue our year-round programming that equips students with hope, skills, and spiritual grounding to rise above their circumstances.

How You Can Help:

  • Become a monthly donor to help build a sustainable future
  • Introduce SWAN to your church or business network
  • Pray with us as we rebuild and prepare for what’s ahead

Together, we’re not just filling a calendar—we’re building a movement rooted in love, faith, and the unshakable belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and given the chance to thrive.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.

With hope,

The SWAN Team
