This school year began with 30 eager SWAN students receiving free music lessons. I (Holly) was privileged to sit through several of the classes and see first hand the excitement and joy it brought to each of the children as they learned and progressed in the lessons. I was left speechless as I realized just how much impact one lesson made on these young lives.
Our SWAN students are taking one or more of the following: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, violin, alto sax, private and group voice lessons. The students are excited to learn and thrilled to be making music.
Currently lessons are being taught in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Austin, Texas. Throughout this school year we anticipate serving more children in both locations.
