Eleven elementary and high school piano students performed for an audience of family and friends as a way to support SWAN’s mission. The students invested months of preparation to learn their music and then faced the challenge of performing so they could bless others. And bless they did. Not only was their music beautiful and well prepared, but they also took an offering from their supporters and raised nearly $400. Piano teacher, Barb Wimer, was the inspiration behind the event. It is very clear that she is teaching her students far more than how to play the piano. She is teaching them to help others with their gifts.
