Therapeutic Drumming Seminars
Our Therapeutic Drumming Program uses rhythm as a powerful tool for healing, connection, and emotional expression. Through guided drumming experiences, students learn to regulate stress, process emotions, and build a sense of calm and belonging.
This program not only supports students, but it also equips those who walk alongside them. SWAN and School District of Lancaster staff are trained through a two-part seminar to lead therapeutic drumming sessions, creating consistent, trauma-informed spaces where students can safely engage and grow.
At the same time, students and their families learn simple drumming techniques they can use at home or anywhere, empowering them with practical tools for self-regulation, connection, and ongoing healing.
